Schroeder is a Josephine County Park offering camping and day use facilities roughly 4.5 miles from Grants Pass, OR. Schroeder campground is no longer accepting walk-ins for yurts. They are available by reservation only. Full hookup sites are available by reservation or walk-in. For directions to Schroeder Park please see the section titled "Getting There" at the bottom of this web page. These same directions will be printed in your confirmation letter. We do not recommend using the Google driving directions generated by the "Get Directions" link to the left. MAKE SURE YOUR SITE MEETS YOUR CAMPING NEEDS Before reserving, please become familiar with the particulars of your chosen site, including the size of the tent pad area and the type of equipment that you may bring to the park. Campsite fees include 1 vehicle; additional vehicles must pay $5 per night at the park. Pets must be on a leash at all times and may not be left unattended at any time. If you reserve a yurt please look for your access combination in the Security Alerts section of your confirmation letter. Pets are not allowed at any yurt site. Yurts are available by reservation only. October 1 through March 31: Seasonal closures for half of the park are in effect. The tent loop with sites 32-53, including the group site, are closed. There is an $9 reservation fee per site reserved. An $9 transaction fee is charged for any date or site changes made to current reservations. *Reservations for more than five nights/days that are later changed to fewer nights/days by cancelling nights at the end of the stay will only pay an $8 transaction fee. Reservations for more the five nights/days that are later changed to fewer nights/days by cancelling nights at the beginning of the stay will pay an $8 transaction fee and the nightly rate for each night cancelled. Please be aware that only the person whose name is on the reservation, their designee or the primary occupant may access, change or cancel the reservation.
